Mrs. Alice R. Albin, 89, a life-long resident of West Branch, died April 30 in her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Albin was born Aug. 22, 1874, the daughter of Olive C. and Annie Hawley Pennock. She was a member of the West Branch Methodist church.
Mrs. Albin and her late husband, Fred, operated a meat market in West Branch for many years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Florence Pilkington; a brother, Burt Pennock, and one sister, Mrs. John Thompson, all of West Branch, one grandchild and 4 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son.
