Funeral services for Clyde Fisher, 78, retired Lowden area farmer, were held April 26 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller in charge. Burial was in Inland cemetery at Bennett.
Pallbearers were Bert Agne, Forrest Argo, Don Wehde, Henry Mente, Clare Williams and Herman Hass. Mrs. Wendell Willer was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford, organist. Mrs. Don Wehde and Mrs. Bert Agne were in charge of flowers.
Mr. Fisher died April 23 at Mercy hospital in Davenport after an illness of approximately one week.
The son of Joseph Henry and Margaret Ann Montz Fisher, he was born June 26, 1885 in Springfield township, west of Lowden. He and his twin brother, Clarence, farmed near Lowden for many years until they retired and moved to Tipton in 1957.
He is survived by his brother and many cousins, including Bessie Montz, who made her home with the Fisher brothers for 40 years, and Mrs. Arnold Zimmer of Tipton.
