Funeral services for Mrs. Herman (Edna) Wingert, 77, a Tipton area resident for 52 years, were held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton March 23 with the Rev. Eugene Miller in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Raymond Crock Sr., Fred Edler, Russell Willer, Walter Graham, Harold Heick and Vance Dallege. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kleppe were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Wingert died March 20 after an illness of several months.

The daughter of Curtin and Elizabeth Irvin Bixler, she was born Feb. 3, 1887 at Sandy Hill, Penn. and was educated in the rural schools of that area.

She was married to Herman J. Wingert at Harrisburg, Penn. Dec. 21, 1910. They farmed northeast of Tipton for many years before moving to Tipton.

She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Mary Knox, Harrisburg, Penn. and 6 nieces and a nephew.
