Funeral services for Bert Burrows, 82, a native of Cedar county, were held Feb. 29 at Muscatine with burial in Memorial park, Muscatine. Mr. Burrows died Feb. 26 at Muscatine General hospital after a long illness.

A farmer, Mr. Burrows had been a resident of Muscatine for 20 years. He was born Sept. 12, 1881, in Cedar county, the son of John and Rosey Adams Burrows.

He was married Dec. 22, 1908, in Cedar county to Sadie Yerington. He was a member of Glad Tidings church in Muscatine.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Sadie Burrows, Muscatine; one son, Bennie Burrows, Oakland, Calif.; 2 brothers, William and Walter Burrows, Muscatine; one sister, Mrs. Charles Burroughs, Muscatine; and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, 2 sisters, one son and one daughter.
