Funeral services were held Feb. 29 at the South Bethel church for Mrs. Dan Cosgriff, 30, of Des Moines. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery at Wilton Junction.
Mrs. Cosgriff died at Des Moines Feb. 26 after a long illness.
The former Eileen Kiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orren Kiser, she was born in Wilton Junction, and taught at Roosevelt school in Davenport. She married Mr. Cosgriff at Davenport in 1955.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Carolyn, a son, David, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orren Kiser, Wilton Junction; a brother, Clifford Kiser, St. Petersburg, Fla., and an aunt Mrs. Earl Finch, Davenport.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dan Cosgriff, 30, were held Feb. 29 at the South Bethel church with the Rev. Robert Kem of St. Andrew's Episcopal church of Des Moines, assisted by the Rev. Omar Pettersen of Lisbon and the Rev. Ray Block of Bennett and South Bethel.
Steven Chambliss was organist and the Rev. Pettersen was vocalist. Pallbearers were Jim Brennan, Ray Penningroth, Ken Oldham, Don Kallenberger, Wallie Mueller and Myron Kiser. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reeve and Mrs. Ken Oldham were in charge of flowers.
Mrs. Cosgriff died of emphysema Feb. 27 in Mercy hospital at Des Moines after an illness of 2 months. Prayer services were held in Des Moines Feb. 28.
The daughter of Orren I. and Blanche F. Kiser, she was born March 3, 1933, at Muscatine and spent her youth in the South Bethel community. She was a graduate of Tipton high school in 1950 and Cornell college in 1954.
June 26, 1955, she was married to Daniel H. Cosgriff of Tipton. She taught in the primary schools of Davenport and Colorado Springs, Colo., and was a substitute teacher in the Des Moines school system in 1961 and 1962. The Cosgriffs had lived in Des Moines for 4 years.
She joined South Bethel church in her early youth and had more recently been confirmed in St. Andrew's Episcopal church of Des Moines.
She was a member of Purity Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star of Wilton Junction, the Open Prairie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at Tipton, and was a past grand officer of the Iowa Order of Rainbow for Girls.
She is survived by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Carolyn, 7, a son, David, 2, and a brother, Clifford, St. Petersburg, Fla.
Relatives from a distance attending the funeral included Mrs. Charles Vazis of St. Louis, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cosgriff, Council Bluffs, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kiser, St. Petersburg, Fla.
