Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Brown Tuerk, 69, were held at Davenport Feb. 20. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Tuerk was born May 20, 1894, at West Branch, the daughter of George and Blanche Forsythe Brown. She died at her home in Davenport Feb. 17 after an illness of 4 weeks. She had lived in Davenport for 44 years.

She was married Nov. 15, 1923, to George Beach Tuerk, who preceded her in death in 1950. She was a private duty nurse.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Sherman, Chicago, Ill., a son, George, Davenport, and 3 grandchildren.
