Funeral services for Mrs. W. O. Dodds, 95, a former Cedar county resident, were held May 8 at St. Joseph's church in Edina, Mo. Mrs. Dodds died at her home May 5, just 2 days after her 95th birthday.

Margaret Lavina, daughter of Henry and Maria Fitzpatrick Fisher, was born May 3, 1867. She was married to William O. Dodds at Iowa City, Jan. 23, 1887. The couple celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary this year.

She is survived by her 97-year-old husband, 7 children, Mrs. Essie Kummer, Hasting, Minn.; Mrs. Nellie Kimm, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Lola Szlapka, Mrs. Vera Arnold and Willard, Edina, Mo.; Ralph, Tucson, Ariz. and Fred, Port Washington, Wis.; 17 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Dodds, Beulah Dodds and Mrs. Claude Mitchell and Thomas Moore of West Branch attended the funeral services.
