Mrs. Minnie Clark, mother of Herbert Clark, died at Tama Feb. 1, after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Feb. 4 at Tama.

Mrs. Clark, the daughter of Sarah Hall and Lemon McCarty, was born Feb. 1, 1882 at Marshalltown and lived in Lowden for several years as a child. After the death of her father, who was killed in a railroad accident at Lowden, the family moved to Tama.

She was married to Arthur M. Clark in1902 and they farmed near Tama and operated businesses in Montour and Tama.

She is survived by 2 sons, Wallace, Tama, and Herbert; 5 grandchildren, a sister and a brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 brothers and a sister.
