Funeral services for Walter F. Miller, retired Tipton businessman, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. A. C. Long and the Rev. V. S. Jensen in charge.

Pallbearers will be Dr. C. H. Banks, C. H. Leabhart, R. M. Willer, Clarence Kuhn, H. B. Walters and L. E. Aker. Mrs. Irma Crawford will be organist. Mr. and Mrs. Folmer Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Mayes and Mr. and Mrs. William Schneekloth will have charge of flowers.

Mr. Miller died Feb. 13 at St. Luke's hospital where he had been taken the day before. He had been ill for approximately two and a half years.

The son of Shepard and Winifred Worley Miller, he was born at Ursa, Ill., Dec. 17, 1889. He was married to Anna Mae Grundy at Joliet, Ill. Dec. 16, 1911. The Millers came to the Tipton community 39 years ago.

He was an automobile dealer until he retired in 1959, after he became ill. Under his ownership, the Miller Chevrolet-Oldsmobile agency was one of the largest in this area.

Mr. Miller was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic lodge.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Wayne, executive vice-president of the First National bank; a brother, Chester, Mendon, Ill., and 6 grandchildren, Michael, Patricia, Susan, Sally, James and Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.
