Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Minnie) LaRue, 76, were held Jan. 30 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home, with Fred Miller, grandson of Mrs. LaRue, in charge. Burial was at Armstrong cemetery, Armstrong, Ill.

Mrs. LaRue died at the Utopia Nursing home Jan. 28 after a lingering illness.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Jones, she was born in Indiana May 29, 1885. She was married to Fred Joseph LaRue Feb. 27, 1912. The couple lived in Illinois and Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, who is a patient in the Utopia Nursing home, a daughter, Mrs. Carl Miller, Hazelcrest, Ill., 3 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
