Heinrich Kuhlmann, 89, a resident of Durant for 19 years, died in his home Jan. 26. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Mr. Kuhlmann was born in Germany March 29, 1872 and came to the United States in 1905, to Davenport. He was united in marriage to Catherine Lahrson on Dec. 9, 1894 in Germany. The couple engaged in farming north of Durant until retirement in 1943, at which time they moved to Durant.

He is survived by his wife.

Services were held in Durant Jan. 30. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.
