Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Jackson, 83, were held Jan. 3 at the Presbyterian church with the Rev. George Gallagher officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson was born Oct. 29, 1878 near Mechanicsville, the daughter of William and Jane Conner. She died Dec. 31 at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Forest Christiansen in Ringsted, following a brief illness.

She is survived by her daughter, a son, Willard, Mt. Auburn; 3 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Jessie Studer, Mechanicsville.

She was preceded in death by a son, Howard, in 1918 and her husband, Henry, in 1945.
