Mrs. Edward B. (Jessie) Curtis, 92, Cedar Falls, a native of Tipton, died Nov. 24 at Minneapolis, Minn. She had made her home for the past 10 years with her daughter, Mrs. Fred Smith, of Minneapolis.

She was born at Tipton, the daughter of John and Margaret Birss. She married Edward Curtis March 29, 1899, and had lived at Cedar Falls for more than 50 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Cedar Falls.

Surviving are 2 sons, Wallace, Van Nuys, Calif., and Birss, Los Angeles, Calif.; 2 daughters, Helen, Amherst, Mass., and Mrs. Altha Smith, Minneapolis, Minn. There are 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 26 at Cedar Falls. Burial was in Fairview cemetery there.
