Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Cora Irene) Adams, 64, were held Oct. 21 at the Foursquare Gospel church in Tipton with the Rev. I. O. Espeseth in charge.

Pallbearers were her sons-in-law and grandson, Richard Runge, Joseph Howe, Albert Steiner, Jesse Bilderbach, and Leslie and Randy Herbert. Donna Cole was vocalist, accompanied by Mrs. Irma Crawford. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turner and Mrs. William Stuart were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Adams died Oct. 18 at University hospitals, Iowa City. She became suddenly ill that day and was taken to Iowa City by ambulance, dying shortly after her arrival at the hospital.

The daughter of William and Dora Edmandson Heaton, she was born near Macomb, Ill., May 16, 1899. She was married to Fred T. Adams at Kohoka, Mo., June 1, 1940.

A housewife, she was a member of the Foursquare Gospel church.

She is survived by her husband, 7 daughters: Mrs. Herman (Veneta) Colburn, Tajunga, Calif.; Mrs. Leslie (Eila) Herbert, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Albert (Louise) Steiner, Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. Jesse (Donna) Bilderbach, East Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Joseph (Minnie) Howe, Mediapolis; Mrs. Richard (Mildred) Runge, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. David (June) Kingsuby, Tipton; 2 brothers, Edward Heaton, Macomb, Ill., and Alva Heaton, Marion, Ind.; 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
