Funeral services for Carl H. Kampmann, 73, who died Aug. 1 in his home in Wilton Junction, were held Aug. 3 in Gill Funeral Home, Wilton Junction, with the Rev. Edwin Otte of Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, officiating. Max Lauser was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Mildred Gregory. Burial was in Van Horne Cemetery, south of Lowden.

Carl Kampmann, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kampmann, was born May 20, 1890 in the family home south of Lowden. He spent his entire life in the community until four years ago when he and his brothers retired and moved to Wilton Junction. He was a life member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Survivors are 2 brothers, Henry and Herman of Wilton Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
