Services will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton for Daniel Amos Kohl, who died July 28 at his home in Long Beach, Calif.

He was born Jan. 3, 1880 in Cedar county. Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Daniel and William Kohl, both of Tipton and Jesse Kohl, West Branch; 2 daughters, Mrs. J. C. Wuertz, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Morris Kankel, Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 2 brothers, R. E. Kohl, Marion and C. S. Kohl, Ft. Meyers, Fla., and 9 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home the evening of July 31.
