Mrs. Minnie Dettmann, 85, died early Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Wulff in Clarence. Funeral services were held Saturday in St. John United Church of Christ with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating.

Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch was organist and hymns were sung by the church choir. Lawrence Kline, Wilbur Debner, Donald Meier, John Kahl, Wm. Von Muenster and Marvin Horn were pallbearers. Mrs. Harlan Miles and Mrs. Elmer Brendes had charge of flowers. Interment was in St. John cemetery.

The former Wilhelmine Horn was a life resident of Clarence. She was married to John Dettmann, Sr., in 1901. He preceded her in death.

Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Viola) Wulff and a son John, both of Clarence; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Kline, Mrs. Fred Debner and Mrs. Charles Von Muenster of Clarence and Mrs. George Meier of Cedar Rapids and a brother, Charles Horn of Clarence.
