Funeral services were held Friday at Horner Funeral Home in Mechanicsville for Mrs. Maude Sarby, 85. She was the mother of Mrs. Erma Esbaum of Lowden. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Mrs. Sarby died January 5th at the Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton where she had been a patient for two months. Mrs. Sarby had resided in the Olin and Mechanicsville areas. Besides Mrs. Esbaum, she is survived by four daughters and one son; also a number of grandchildren.
