Funeral services for Robert Agne, 48, were held June 30 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Norman Dauber, Leonard J. Hayslett, Earl Wright, Walter Eilers, Don Kallenberger and Austin Ford. Mr. and Mrs. Folmer Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. John Fraseur were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Wendell Willer was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford, organist.

Mr. Agne died June 27 at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, after an illness of 5 weeks. He suffered a heart attack in May and a second attack about 10 days ago.

The son of Fred L. and Amanda Messner Agne, he was born at Tipton June 15, 1915 and spent his entire life in the Tipton area. He graduated from Tipton high school and was married to Lois Lausen Sept. 24, 1941.

He is survived by his wife; 3 sons, Robert, Jerry and Randall and 2 daughters, Eileen and Beverly, all at home. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son and daughter.
