Death came suddenly at noon on Tuesday to Miss Alice Belle Bain while she was about her usual household duties in the home of her sister, Mrs. Nan Baltisberger, where she has resided since coming to Clarence from Chicago some six years ago. She was a victim of heart disease.

She was the daughter of Wm. and Martha Bain and was born at Oxford, Johnson county, on Feb. 24, 1890, and died at Clarence Nov. 10, 1936, aged 46 years, 8 months and 10 days. She was a resident of Chicago the greater portion of her later life.

Miss Bain is survived by her mother, Martha Bain, and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Perkins, Mrs. Nan Baltisberger and Mrs. Mae Miller all of Clarence.

The funeral was held at 10 o'clock at the Baltisberger home and was in charge of Rev. K. Fauth. The remains were then taken to Oxford where burial took place in the family's cemetery plot, following the services this morning.
