Funeral services for Mrs. Etta B. Kiser, 87, were held at Wilton Junction March 30 with the Rev. Richard Skelly in charge. Pallbearers were Frank, Orren, George, Walter, Clarence and Myron Kiser.

Mrs. Walter Kiser was soloist with Mrs. Emma Birkhofer, organist. Mrs. Orren Kiser was in charge of flowers. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Mrs. Kiser died March 28 at Wilton Junction nursing home.

The daughter of Charles F. and Alice Moyer Brown, she was born 3 1/2 miles north of Wilton Junction Feb. 24, 1876. Her father taught at the White Pigeon school in Cedar county in 1877 and 1888.

She was married to Aaron Ellsworth Kiser, a young Presbyterian minister, a native of Sugar Creek township, Aug. 9, 1899. The Rev. John F. Hinkhouse, minister of the Audubon church, officiating.

They first lived at State Center and he held pastorates at Malvern and Creston, where he was moderator of the synod. For 4 years they lived at Lincoln, Nebr.

Their only daughter, Gertrude, was born at State Center and attended the University of Iowa. She died in 1927.

Following the Rev. Kiser's death in 1952, Mrs. Kiser lived with her sister, Mrs. Myrtle Fusch at Madison, Wis., then returned to Creston. She came to the Wilton Nursing Home in September, 1960.
