Funeral services for Ralph Schooley, 64, Cedar county farmer, were March 22 at the Springdale Methodist church with the Rev. Charles F. Haigh officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens, Iowa City.

Mr. Schooley died March 20 at Mercy hospital, Iowa City. He had farmed all his life in the West Branch-West Liberty-Springdale area.

Born May 28, 1898, at West Liberty, he was a son of Phineas and Nellie Crain Schooley. He married Myrtle Greenway March 1, 1919 at West Liberty.

Mr. Schooley was a member of the Springdale Methodist church.

Survivors are his widow; 3 sons, Raymond, Iowa City, Leslie, Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Donald, West Branch; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Tisinger, Iowa City; 4 brothers, Carl, Clifford, Harry and Earl, all of West Liberty, and 10 grandchildren.
