Funeral services for Lloyd Earl Anderson, 25, were held March 26 at the Dye Funeral Home in Tipton, with the Rev. Robert Yoder in charge.

Pallbearers were Ross Nebergall, Jim Shotwell, William Feldman, Richard Skladzien, all of Tipton; Derald Baer, West Branch and Leslie Bismark, Cedar Valley. Mrs. C. C. Crawford was organist. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Anderson's body was found by his father, Earl Anderson, near the Anderson farm home, 5 miles southwest of Tipton, about 6:30 a.m. March 24. Coroner Walter Kopsa said death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound and that the time of death was approximately 8:30 p.m. March 23.

His death was believed due to despondency.

Anderson had been employed at a saw mill operated by Derald Baer and had also worked as a farm worker in this area.

The son of Earl G. and Jessie Wagner Anderson, he was born March 10, 1938, on a farm near Tipton and spent his entire life in the Tipton area. He attended the Tipton Community school.

He is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, Lee Charles and Jimmy Jesse; 3 sisters, Rose Marie, Susan Ann and Betty Jean and his grandmothers, Mrs. Martha Anderson and Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner.
