Mrs. Elmer Border, Marion, died suddenly March 11 while shoveling snow in her driveway.
Mrs. Border was a resident of Mechanicsville until moving to Marion 1 1/2 years ago. She was born Oct. 31, 1912, at Lisbon. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, O.E.S., and Legion auxiliary in Mechanicsville.
Survivors include her husband; 3 daughters, Mrs. Robert Crary, Madison, Wis., Mrs. Robert Studer, Mechanicsville, and Mrs. Clarence Ralczak, Warrenville, Ill.; 7 grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. John Miller of Lisbon, and 2 brothers, Harvey Stahl of Phoenix and Max Stahl of Lisbon.
Services were March 15 in the Methodist church at Mechanicsville with burial in the Mechanicsville cemetery.
