Henry Kroemer, 84, died March 13 in his home northwest of Lowden, following a month's illness. Services were held March 16 in Trinity Lutheran church following a prayer service in the family home with the Rev. Theo. J. Eickelberg officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.

The Men's choir sang, accompanied by Waldemar Bergdolt at the organ.

Pallbearers were Edwin, Arnold, Norman, Raymond and Lawrence Kroemer and Richard Wendt, nephews of the deceased. Mrs. Marvin Deke and Mrs. Albert Martins had charge of the flowers.

Henry Kroemer was born March 15, 1879 on a farm northwest of Lowden (near the farm where he died) the son of Chris and Lizetta Schakel Kroemer. He lived his entire life in that neighborhood. He received his education in Trinity Day school.

He was united in marriage to Anna Bunge of Lowden Dec. 15, 1909. When they retired from active farming, they continued to make their home on their farm.

He was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran church, Lowden, where he served on the board of trustees and also on the Cemetery committee.

Survivors are his widow, a son Erhard, Lowden; 2 daughters, Mrs. Walter (Olga) Hintze, Lowden and Hildegard Kroemer, Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Chris, Stanwood and Paul, Lowden; also a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.
