June 13, 1890 - The Clarence Sun

Sarah W. Frazee was born in Utica, N.Y., August 6th, 1806, and died near Olin, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Moffitt, June 5th, 1890. She was married to Wm. Frazee in 1828. After having lived together 59 years he passed away. Mrs. Frazee's sickness was long and painful, her suffering can not be described, but she bore all with great fortitude. She was a woman of great mental strength and her mind remained clear to the last. Few have such untiring care given them as she did but bye and bye the time she so anxiously awaited came at last and the suffering one was let free. The services at the home were conducted by Rev. Harper of Olin, after which the remains were taken to Mechanicsville, led by Rev. J. W. Hubbard and her pastor, W. S. Skinner, who had charge of the services at church. After a hymn by the choir a prayer was offered by Rev. Downing, of Clarence, an obituary was read by the pastor, eulogies pronounced by Revs. Hubbard and Downing. Many eyes wept but hearts rejoiced that her terrible suffering was over. Two sons and two daughters followed her to her last resting place hoping in Christ to meet again. REV. W. S. SKINNER
