Wilbur Flansburg, 86, who operated a dairy in Clarence for 30 years, died Feb. 20 at a Tipton nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services were Feb. 22 at Iowa City with the Rev. Herbert Foxworthy of the Tiffin Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Mr. Flansburg was born Jan. 25, 1877, at Albany, N.Y.

He came to Clarence at the age of nine and was married to Halena Maley in Stanwood in 1908. He had lived at Tiffin for 30 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Floy Stoneking of Monticello; 2 sons, Dale and Claire, both of Tiffin; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. His wife and a daughter preceded him in death.
