Funeral services for Ida Mae Cryder, 84, Bennett, were held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton Feb. 1, with the Rev. Omar Pettersen in charge.

Pallbearers were Fred Wilke, Virgil Wegener, Earl Cryder, Omer Wright, Ralph Ripson and Wilbur Eggert. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist. Burial was in Inland cemetery.

Miss Cryder died Jan. 30 in Mercy hospital in Davenport. She had been in the hospital a month, after suffering a stroke at her home in Bennett.

The daughter of Edward and Clara Mae Templeton Cryder, she was born in Inland township Dec. 28, 1878 and spent her life in the Bennett community.

She attended the Bennett school and Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. She taught school for many years.

She is survived by a brother, E. J. Cryder, Bennett; a niece, Mrs. Fred Wilke, Tipton, and a nephew, Earl Cryder, Davenport.
