Mrs. Genevieve Droll, mother of Reno Droll of Tipton died Jan. 10 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City, where she had been a patient for a short time.

Requiem high mass was conducted Jan. 14 at St. Mary's church in Riverside and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Mrs. Droll was born Jan. 26, 1885, near Riverside, the daughter of John and Flora Rummelhart Knebel. She was married Nov. 24, 1904, at St. Mary's church in Riverside to Jerome Droll, who preceded her in death in 1943.

She was a member of St. Mary's church at Riverside.

Surviving are four sons, Reno, Tipton; Walter, Stanwood; Ivo, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Verne, Riverside; 3 daughters, Mrs. Arthur Beranek, Muscatine, Mrs. Leo Jenn, Riverside, and Mrs. Charles Schnoebelen, Iowa City; 39 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

Also three brothers, Paul Knebel of Riverside, Elmer Knebel, Storm Lake, and Dr. Walter J. Knebel, Buffalo, Wyo.; and 4 sisters, Mrs. Catherine Muller, Marcus, Sister Mary Consolata, Racine, Wis., Mrs. Ivan Maxwell, Parkston, S.D., and Mrs. Ralph Pelzer, Atalissa.
