Funeral services for Mrs. George Brumagin, 75, were held Jan. 13 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. George Gallaher of Mechanicsville in charge. Burial was in Shawver cemetery.

Pallbearers were Arnold Swan, Jesse Stout, William Thordsen, Chalmer Keller, Henry Harden and Lloyd E. Meyer. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bair and Mr. and Mrs. Gale Maurer were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Brumagin died Jan. 10 at University hospital in Iowa City following a lingering illness.

Mary Ellen, daughter of Daniel and Mary Savannah Parrott Frederick, was born near Cedar Bluff Aug. 27, 1897. She was married to George M. Brumagin Nov. 26, 1929. She spent her entire life in Cedar county, mostly in the Tipton area.

She is survived by her husband, 3 brothers, Norman, Gilbert and Carl Frederick, all of Tipton and a sister, Ida Susa Howarth of Cedar Rapids.
