Ingram Bixler, 2392 Blake boulevard SE, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids and vicinity died on Monday, April 9th, 1962 at Brooksville, Florida. He was born February 1, 1886, at Clarence and at the time of his passing had attained the age of 76 years, 2 months and 8 days.

Mr. Bixler was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, Mizpah lodge 639, A.F. & A.M., the Iowa Consistory, El Kahir Shrine, the Rotary Club, the Cedar Rapids Country Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Isaac Walton, the Executives an the Elks clubs.

He was cashier and president of the Clarence Savings Bank for 15 years before going to Cedar Rapids. He organized the forerunner of the present-day Midland Farm Management Co., of which he was the chairman at the time of his death.

Surviving are his wife, the former Clare Oldaker, to whom he was married on April 7, 1909, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Decker of Clarence and Sadie Young of Ames.

Funeral services were held at the Turner chapel in Cedar Rapids at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 14th, 1962, with entombment at the Chapel of Memories in Cedar Memorial Cemetery.
