Bridgett Heaney Lee, 96, formerly of Durant, died Dec. 20 in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe McCoy, Davenport, after an extended illness.

The former Bridgett Heaney was born in Davenport Dec. 25, 1864. She had lived in Durant until moving to Davenport in 1960. Mrs. Lee married Thomas Lee Dec. 21, 1883.

Services were Dec. 23 in St. Mary's Catholic church, Wilton Junction. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Surviving are 2 sons, Glynn and Lawrence, both of Davenport; 3 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Myrtle) Martin and Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Johnston, both of Tipton, and Mrs. Joe (Ethel) McCoy, Davenport; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 6 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 sons, and a daughter.
