Mrs. Alma Bangert, 78, of Wilton Junction died at 4 a.m. Dec. 16 at the Wilton nursing home after a lengthy illness.

The daughter of Henry and Bertha Krone Dohrman, she was born Oct. 19, 1883, at Durant. She was married to A. J. Bangert at Durant, and they had lived at Wilton Junction for the past 20 years. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include her husband, A. J. Bangert, Wilton Junction; 6 daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Norma) Korthaus, Durant, Mrs. Herbert (Florence) Harmsen, Davenport; Mrs. Allen (Gertrude) Otto, Durant, Mrs. Elmer (Ima) Macoben, Durant, Mrs. Robert (Genevieve) Walker, Durant, and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Ormsby, Davenport; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.

Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Fred Rohlfs in charge. Interment was at the Durant cemetery.
