Funeral services were held at Mechanicsville Dec. 11 for Thomas Arthur Myers, 51, who died Dec. 7, while working at Rose Hill cemetery. Pastor George Gallaher officiated.

Pallbearers were Lavern Weber, Mearle Weber, Kenneth Weber, William Weber, Leonard Carter and Walter Wendel. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Myers was born June 11, 1910 the son of Arthur and Estelle Clyde Myers in Holdridge, Neb. He lived most of his life in the communities of Hansel and Dumont.

He was married to Alberta Street, Dec. 24, 1935. They were the parents of 4 children, Estella Marlene Unruh, Cedar Rapids; Laverne Wayne and Thomas Arthur, in the service; and Marilyn Jean.

Mr. Myers was employed by the town of Mechanicsville for 8 years.

He is survived by his wife and 4 children; his stepmother, Cyvella Myers; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Adeline Street, Dumont, and Mrs. Norma Anway, Hansel; and 2 brothers, Allen Myers, Ardale, and Warren Myers, Oklahoma.
