Leland Christian of Tarpon Springs, Fla., died of a heat attack at his work Oct. 30. He was 43 years old.

He was born in Cedar county and attended the Tipton school.

He is survived by his wife, Grace, and 3 sons, David, Phil and Michael, all of Tarpin Springs; his mother, Mrs. Kathryn Christian of Tipton, two sisters, Mrs. Veno (Fern) Rix of New Liberty and Mrs. Harley (Margaret) Gamber of Davenport.

Burial was at Tarpon Springs.
