Funeral services for Elmer B. Hoyman, 93, former Clarence resident, were held at Cedar Rapids Nov. 7 with burial in Clarence.

Mr. Hoyman, a retired farmer and a Cedar Rapids resident for 41 years, died Nov. 3 following a lingering illness. He was born Feb. 1, 1868, near Clarence and was married to Jeanette Greig at Clarence Nov. 2, 1892.

Mr. Hoyman was a member of the First Presbyterian church.

Surviving are his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Alberta E. Read, Minneapolis, Minn., and Isabel Hoyman, Cedar Rapids; a son, William G. Hoyman of Grand View, Wash., 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
