Julius C. A. Wirth, 75, retired Sunbury implement dealer, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Wilton Junction nursing home where he had been a patient for 3 weeks.

Nearly a lifelong resident of Sunbury, Wirth was born Dec. 7, 1885, in Cedar county. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Wirth. He was married to Minnie Griebel who preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Sylvester Wirth, Durant, a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Matilda) Piersall, Davenport, and 2 grandchildren. His parents and one sister also preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Nov. 8 at Wilton Junction. The Rev. J. Baul Boaz officiated. Burial was at the Durant cemetery.
