Mrs. Mame Rickard received word of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Charles Lang, which occurred Tuesday night in Santa Barbara, Calif., where she had made her home for a number of years.

Mrs. Lang, a former Tipton resident, observed her 101st birthday July 1.

The body will be brought back to Maquoketa for burial. Funeral arrangements are pending.
