Funeral services for Frederich Phillip Homrighausen, 83, were held at the Dye funeral home Oct. 3, with the Rev. Arthur Stratemeyer in charge. Pallbearers were Arnold, Oscar and Lloyd Fox, Ed Homrighausen, Edwin Bachus and Leonard Hayes. Mrs. Arthur Stratemeyer was vocalist and Mrs. Arnold Swan organist. Reta and Sharon Albaugh were in charge of flowers. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Homrighausen died at a Tipton nursing home Oct. 1 after a long illness.

The son of Phillip and Caroline Keller Homrighausen, he was born Feb. 25, 1878 near Big Rock. He attended school near Wheatland and was married to Anna Sheppers March 12, 1914, by the Rev. Naly in the Reformed church in Tipton. A farmer, he lived in the Tipton area for 38 years.

He is survived by his wife, a brother, John, Oxford Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Albaugh, Tipton; a son, Lester, Bennett, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, a grandson and 2 great-grandsons.
