Memorial services for Mrs. Lee Barker, 52, the former Dorothy Long of Tipton, were held at San Francisco, Calif., Aug. 21. Burial was in the National cemetery of the Presideo of San Francisco.
Mr. Barker died at Letterman General hospital in San Francisco after a cerebral hemorrhage.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al Long, she was born in Larned, Kans. Nov. 2, 1909. The Longs moved to Tipton when she was a small child and grew up in the Tipton community where she attended school.
She and her husband, a retired army major, had been living in San Francisco since his retirement.
She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Etta Long, Tipton; 3 sisters, Mrs. J. J. (Ruth) Matthews, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Lucille Watson, San Francisco; Mrs. Ray (Elaine) Silver, Tipton; 2 brothers, Victor, Tipton and George E. Deerfield, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Silver and Victor and George Long attended the memorial services.
