Mrs. Lizzie Schneekloth, 75, resident of Durant for the past 19 years died Aug. 7 following a lingering illness, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Randal Kuelper, 7 miles northwest of Durant.

Born Jan. 28, 1886 in Cedar county, the daughter of Detlaf and Emma Wehde, she married Herman Schneekoth Jan. 6, 1909 in Davenport. The couple farmed in Cedar county until the death of Mr. Schneekloth, after which she moved to Durant.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kuelper, 2 sons, Walter, Bennett and Gilbert, Cedar Rapids; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Two sons preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. (DST) today (Thursday) in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant cemetery.
