Funeral services for Frank William Winter, 67, retired electrician and former Tipton council member, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home. The Rev. Arthur Stratemeyer will be in charge.

Rose Croix Shriner's services will be held. Burial will be in the Van Horne cemetery, near Lowden.

Mr. Winter died at University hospital about 10 p.m. July 11, where he had gone for surgery. He had been ill for 5 days.

He was born July 23, 1893, at Lowden and was married to Eliza Dircks Oct. 8, 1913. They moved to Tipton in 1925. He was a master electrician and retired in 1958.

Mr. Winter served 2 terms on the Tipton city council, from 1950 through 1953.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, Kenneth, Powell, Wyo., and Clifford, San Diego, Calif., a granddaughter and a brother, A. L. Winter, Davenport.
