Funeral services for Albert L. McClellan, 78, were held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home July 3, with Pastor Roy Stock officiating. Burial was in Shawver cemetery near Cedar Bluff. Pallbearers were Norman and Carl Frederick, William Herbst, Carson Cobb, Clarence Kern and Elmer Stout.

He died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Templeton in Tipton where he had made his home for 7 years.

The son of William and Martha Marker McClellan, he was born in Bertram March 21, 1883. He worked for the Cedar Rapids water works for many years.

He is survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. Templeton, Mrs. Henry Theel, Stewartville, Minn.; Mrs. John Fisher, Lake City, Minn., and Mrs. Mabel Allen, Reeding, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife and a brother.
