David (Dave) H. Bowers, 45, Wilton Junction, died May 25, at University hospital, Iowa City, after an extended illness.

The son of Russell and Belle Woods Bowers, he was born Dec. 6, 1915, at Masonville. He has been a Wilton Junction resident for 21 years and was a former Stockton resident.

Mr. Bowers married Elfreda Behrens Aug. 12, 1938, at the Little Brown church in Nashua.

Survivors include his widow, living in Wilton Junction; 2 daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Louise) Millage Jr., and Mrs. Thomas (Sophronia) Werner, both of Wilton Junction; one brother, Emmett Bowers, Wilton Junction; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Lueth; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Bowers, Wilton Junction; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services were May 27 at the Wilton Methodist church with Rev. Robert G. Farr officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.
