Funeral services for James Patrick Fitzpatrick, 70, Cedar Valley, were held Thursday, May 25, at St. Joseph's church in Cedar Valley. Mr. Fitzpatrick was a veteran of World War I.

He was born Dec. 23, 1890 in Cedar Valley and spent his entire life farming, in the Cedar Valley area. Survivors include 3 sisters, Sara F., West Branch, Winifred F., West Branch and Mary F., Welton; 2 brothers, Paul, West Branch and M. H. Fitzpatrick, Iowa City.
