Mrs. Hulda Christensen, 75, a former resident of West Branch, died Thursday at a West Liberty nursing home where she had been a patient for the past two years.

Mrs. Christensen was born June 27, 1885, in Finland and came to the United States with her parents. She was married to Jens Christensen May 11, 1907.

Mrs. Christensen was a member of the West Branch Friends church.

Survivors include one son, Clifford, of West Liberty, 2 daughters, Mrs. Viggo Christensen of Iowa City and Mrs. Parvin Jensen of Cedar Rapids, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, a son and a brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were May 20 with the Rev. Clifford Wolfe, Friends church minister, officiating. Burial was in the Springdale cemetery.
