Funeral services for Caroline Bunge Hein, 71, were held May 16 from St. Paul's Lutheran church, Bennett, with the Rev. E. H. Beckman in charge. Pallbearers were Lawrence Kroemer, Gerald Hein, Harvey Hein, Erhardt Kroemer, Melvin Wiebel and Robert Bunge.

Mrs. Hein died May 13 at her home in Bennett. She had been ill for a number of years.

She was born Sept. 28, 1890 in Massillon township, the daughter of John and Caroline Hintz Bunge. She was married to Paul A. Hein Feb. 20, 1913.

Surviving are her husband; 3 sons, Lloyd, Tipton, Aaron, Davenport and Albert, Wilton Junction; 3 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Hilda) Whited, Anamosa, Mrs. Darrell (Helen) Brockmeyer, Bennett and Mrs. Elmer (Lenora) Ball, Bennett; 17 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Burial was in Inland cemetery, Bennett.
