Funeral services for Edgar A. Jipp, 58, who died April 11 at his home in rural Wilton Junction, were held April 14 at the Zion Lutheran church in Wilton Junction.

The Rev. John B. Nieman officiated. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

A son of Henry and Minnie Stoll Jipp, he was born Oct. 27, 1902 in Cedar county. His marriage to Hazel Varney took place July 24, 1925 in Muscatine. He was a member of the Wilton Zion Lutheran church and a farmer.

Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Mervin and Robert, both of Wilton Junction; 4 sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Ada) Brammeier, Mamie Jipp and Mrs. Herbert Waech, all of Wilton Junction, and Mrs. Alfred (Florence) Bush, Durant; and 2 grandchildren. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
