Guy Endlsey, 72, retired farmer and a lifelong resident of West Branch, died late April 12 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City after a long illness.

Mr. Endlsey was born at West Branch July 23, 1888, the son of Oliver and Elizabeth Embree Endsley. He married Clara Crozer at West Branch Dec. 12, 1917.

Survivors include the widow; 2 brothers, Ernest, West Branch, and Logan, Glendale, Calif.; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Jesse Pieper, West Branch and Mrs. Mable Rummells, Iowa City. Three brothers preceded Mr. Endsley in death.

Funeral services were held April 15 at West Branch with the Rev. Robert E. Engel, officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.
