Mrs. George (June) Petersen, 40, Clarence, died Friday night, March 31, enroute to a Cedar Rapids hospital, of pneumonia. The body was taken to the Wilcox Funeral home in Clear Lake, Iowa. Funeral arrangements are pending arrival of her son, stationed in Japan with the navy.

The Petersens moved to Clarence from Clear Lake 2 years ago. She is survived by her husband, a son, Michael; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Fredricks and sister, Mrs. Carl Thoresen, all of Cedar Rapids, and a brother, Andrew Fredricks, Marion.
